FAQ
Clear answers about what we do, how we work, and what it takes to build repeatable growth.
What is GTM engineering?
GTM engineering turns your commercial strategy into a working system. We connect market definition, positioning, data, technology, workflows, and execution so your team knows who to target, what to say, and what happens next. The result is a repeatable operation, not another strategy document.
How do you decide which accounts to target?
We combine company fit, technical relevance, buying conditions, urgency, access, and commercial potential. That produces a focused market your team can act on: which accounts to pursue now, which to hold for later, and why. A precise market is more useful than a large, unqualified list.
When is a company ready to build a repeatable GTM motion?
When there is a credible product, some evidence of a real customer problem, and a need to turn early sales learning into consistent execution. You do not need every answer first. If the market is still uncertain, we start by validating it before building for scale.
How do I know founder-led sales has become a bottleneck?
Deals slow down when you are unavailable, reps need you to rescue opportunities, and key decisions still depend on knowledge that only exists in your head. The answer is not an overnight handover. We capture what works, build the process around it, and transfer responsibility in stages.
What do you put into a repeatable sales playbook?
We document who to target, why they buy, how to qualify, how to run discovery, how to explain the value, how to handle recurring objections, and what happens after each conversation. We also define ownership, CRM expectations, and decision points. It guides good judgement without forcing every buyer through a script.
Should we hire sales reps before documenting the process?
Not at scale. A first sales hire can help shape the motion, but several new reps should not have to discover the market, invent the message, and build the workflow at the same time. Document the strongest existing knowledge first, then let the team test and improve it.
Does outbound work for complex technical products?
Yes, when the targeting and message reflect the complexity of the product and buyer. We use careful account selection, a credible reason for contact, and language that connects technical value to a commercial priority. The goal is to create the right conversations, not maximise send volume.
How do you use outbound to validate a market?
We put clear assumptions in front of real buyers and track what happens. That shows whether the target account recognises the problem, which roles engage, which messages create interest, and what objections repeat. It does not prove product-market fit on its own, but it replaces internal opinion with direct market evidence.
How do you measure whether outbound is working?
We look beyond reply rates. Early evidence includes responses from the right people, relevant objections, qualified conversations, and clear next steps. As the motion develops, we measure opportunity creation, progression, sales-cycle quality, and revenue. High activity is not success if it does not produce commercial movement.
What happens during a sales process audit?
We trace real opportunities from market selection to closed business, then compare the intended process with what the team actually does. We review targeting, messaging, handoffs, qualification, follow-up, pipeline stages, data, tools, and ownership. You receive a prioritised view of what is breaking and what to fix first.
Do we need to replace the tools we already use?
Usually not. We first check whether the problem is the tool, its setup, the surrounding process, or how the team uses it. Existing systems can often be simplified, connected, or configured better. We recommend replacement only when a tool creates a real limitation that cannot be solved sensibly.
What should be automated, and what should remain human?
Automate repeatable work with clear rules, such as data movement, enrichment, routing, reminders, and routine reporting. Keep people close to work that depends on context, trust, judgement, or a meaningful buyer conversation. Automation should remove friction and create time for better decisions—not generate activity nobody trusts.
When does leadership become a growth bottleneck?
When decisions stay slow, priorities keep changing, coaching is inconsistent, or performance issues are allowed to drift. Adding more activity will not solve those problems. We help leaders set clear standards, build useful management routines, and develop the team without personally carrying every important outcome.
What does Leadership for Scale involve?
It is practical development tied to the leader's real team and responsibilities. We work on coaching, feedback, accountability, prioritisation, hiring, and performance management, then turn those skills into routines the team experiences every week. It is not a standalone training session or a set of leadership slogans.
What does Nexdation actually do?
We help technical B2B companies build the commercial foundation behind repeatable growth. That can mean defining the market, building a GTM motion, transferring sales from founder to team, improving the sales process, or developing leadership. Nexdation is the growth and go-to-market pillar within Acrein Group, working with Acrein Loop when deeper workflow engineering or automation is needed.
Who is Nexdation best suited to?
Technical B2B companies with a credible product and a commercial motion that needs structure. We specialise in complex products and autonomous systems, where the buyer journey demands precise targeting and credible communication. Clients may be finding their first repeatable route to market, moving beyond founder-led sales, or fixing a team and process that have stopped scaling.
Is Nexdation advisory or hands-on?
Both. We define the direction, then help build, test, document, and improve the operation alongside your team. We work with the people and systems already in place and change them only where the work demands it. You are left with a stronger internal capability, not a presentation your team still has to implement.
How does an engagement begin?
We start with a conversation about your current stage, the outcome you need, and where progress is getting stuck. We then review the relevant market, process, systems, team, and evidence. From that, we agree on the priority, scope, working model, and a clear first step.
How are engagements scoped, and how long do they take?
The scope follows the problem. A focused audit is shorter than building and validating a complete GTM motion, and some work is best delivered in stages. Before we start, we define the outcome, responsibilities, deliverables, working cadence, and expected timeline so both sides know what the engagement requires.
What will we have at the end of an engagement?
You will have the agreed commercial system in place, not just recommendations. Depending on the scope, that may include a defined market, tested messaging, a sales playbook, cleaner workflows, configured tools, clear ownership, management routines, and a team that can run and improve the work without depending on us.
Do you guarantee sales or revenue results?
No. Buyer decisions, market conditions, product fit, and internal execution all affect commercial results. We commit to the agreed work, transparent evidence, and a high standard of execution. We will tell you what the market is showing, including when the evidence challenges the original plan.
Where can I read Nexdation’s thinking on GTM and scale?
Read Scaling, our section of Acrein Hub. We publish practical articles on GTM execution, founder-led sales, outbound, ideal customer profiles, sales handovers, and the systems behind repeatable growth.
